“The bimax surgery sequence presented is doing the “Le Fort I down-fracture” as first (“maxilla
first sequence”) but after having already designed the bilateral mandibular osteotomies lines. The
reason of using this sequence of steps is to reduce the working time during the mandibular split
while the maxilla is just repositioned and fixed.”
