Mamma Augmentation

In the recent years, operative breast augmentation became one of the most popular operations in aesthetic-plastic surgery. This is shown by increasing numbers of cases world wide. To achieve a optimal result with this surgery, a suitable equiment of instruments is necessary.

Due to the long experience on the field of operative breast augmentation, MEDICON together with Dr. H. Solz, Mannheimer Klinik for plastic surgery, developed a set of instruments for this surgery.

Because of the new, atraumatic breast dissectors, the tissue preparation can be done fast but sparing. This results in lower perioperative bleeding and fast wound healing.

Although the Solz Breast Dissector was developed to ease the dissection throght the axillary incision, it can be used for the submammary and areolary approach as well.

Solz Breast Dissector

ADVANTAGES:

  • The updated bayonet-shape permits an optimal manipulation during the incision in the shoulder cave.
  • The particularly formed, blunt point of the Dissector avoids danger of penetration of the related tissue during the preparation.
  • Excellent non-traumatical and accurate separation of the tissue layers after the digital definition of the approach.
  • The use of the breast dissector allows a precise positioning and spreading of the implant. Damaging of the inlays is practically impossible due to the smooth surface and the optimised form of the Dissectors.
  • Since the tissue structures are pressed and/or stretched aside by the dissector in gentle circling movements, the danger of a postoperative bleeding of the implant cave is clearly reduced in comparison to other methods.
