MEDICON-COURSES In the following, MEDICON would like to inform you about the special workshop circle "MEDICON-COURSES".  Idea
The creative force behind “MEDICON-COURSES” were and are doctors of different medical facilities all over Europe.
Their desire for most intense training opportunities on a high level in the field of maxillofacial surgery and neuro surgery launched these courses. Courses in the range of plastic surgery are planned for the future.
The aim is to offer a platform, on which a scientific exchange between a limited number of participants and an esteemed mentor can take place.
The colours (red = OMF, green = NEURO, yellow = PLASTIC) indicate the respective speciality. Those colours are also reflected in the flyers and on our homepage.
  
 Organization
The courses are characterized by the combination of approved theory and its direct practice at selected surgical cases. The participants have the possibility to exchange opinion with the mentor directly at the operating table. The attendance per course is limited to a maximum of 3 – 5 participants per surgery. This ensures the high quality standard of the workshops.
During the two-day event, the following parts of the course are scheduled:
- Theoretic development of the topic
- Planning preparation of one or several surgeries
- Participation as observer directly at the operation table
- Comprehensive experiences not only in subject-specific approach and surgical technique, but also in the organization of the surgery, technique and resource management
 Audience
The “MEDICON-COURSES” address to participants with first experiences in the surgical field as well as to experienced surgeons to deepen their knowledge in maxillofacial surgery, neuro surgery or plastic surgery.
Together with the host mentor, a harmonic team of participants is assembled.
Accreditation in the context of medical training (continuing medical education - CME)
The accreditation of the professional training for each course is intended. You will find the corresponding number of points in the information of each course. Provided that no number of points can be seen, the validation process is still pending.
