Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

Excellent education without the typical education atmosphere. This special feature characterizes the Medicon Courses.

The participants will be involved in the clinical routines and thus experience a comprehensive programme including surgical approach, operating technique, surgical planning process as well as organization and the efficient input of resources and technique.

Such a programme is only realized by small groups and allows direct exchange with the expert surgeon.

We are welcoming newcomers as well as experienced surgeons and we support the exchange of experiences during the course.

The after work hours are set to be used for networking and discussion of current surgical cases among peers.

Did we spark your interest? Please find our current courses in section Plastic & ENT & CMF Surgery.

Rhinoplasty in Cleft Lip-Nose Deformity,
Prof. Dr. Kiatanant Boonsiriseth & Dr. Sirichai Kiattavorncharoen, Bankok, March 2016

Dear colleagues,

It is always the challenge for the maxillofacial or plastic surgeons to correct the stigmata -the cleft lip-nose deformity- on the cleft lip and cleft lip & palate patients. In this course, we would like to share and exchange our surgical techniques in cleft-rhinoplasty that we have performed in our hospital for 10 years, such as open rhinoplasty technique, harvesting of ear and septal cartilages, various types of cartilage grafts, harvesting of deep temporal fascia, and nasal dorsal augmentation either with silicone or diced cartilage. This 2 day-course will offer both 2 types, unilateral and bilateral cleft lip-nose correction.

Both young new and experienced surgeons in this cleft-rhinoplasty field would be warmly welcomed in friendly Thai atmosphere. We are looking forward for our meeting here in Bangkok.

With best regards,

Dr. Kiatanant Boonsiriseth & Dr. Sirichai Kiattavorncharoen

Recklinghausen Course on Auricular Reconstruction,
Dr. Ralph Magritz & Prof. Dr. Dr. Ralf Siegert, Recklinghausen, April 2016

Dear Colleagues!

The construction of an auricle from autologous tissue is highly complex and demanding for the reconstructive surgeon. Depending on the characteristics of the underlying malformation or deformity, there are various surgical techniques available, which in specialized hands, promise regularly achievable attractive and stable results.

We have specialized in reconstructive and esthetic auricular surgery for many years and have reconstructed more than one thousand malformed or amputated auricles up to now.

After a very successful 3rd course we will present an overview on our clinical experience, let you observe our surgery and help you individually during our special carving and sculpturing workshop at this international course on auricular surgery. Beside our concepts and techniques in major auricular surgery we will also present a practical guide in the management of more minor and moderate abnormalities.

We hope you will enjoy the course, go home with new experiences and be able to use them in your daily work for your patients benefit right away.

Dr. Ralph Magritz & Prof. Dr. Dr. Ralf Siegert

Course of Orthognathic Surgery: Monomaxillary & Bimaxillary Corrections,
Prof. Dr. Dr. H. Eufinger, Recklinghausen, April & September 2016

Dear colleagues,

although the treatment modalities of maxillofacial deformities offer an ample scope for many different points of view, the object of this workshop is to express the view of this ever interesting and evolving field in our department. Since 2005 we provide a yearly based springcongress on surgical orthodontics. Now we would kindly like to share our experiences in this field with you - basing on a yearly number of more than 150 patients with more than 200 surgical orthodontic corrections every year. As teamwork does not tolerate the inconvenience of distance, we are proud of being able to kindly invite you for this open minded hands-on surgical workshop.

It is our ambition to create an atmosphere of excellence in which we can share and discuss our experiences and would like to present you beside the surgical procedures of monomaxillary and bimaxillary orthognatic corrections a range of cutting edge case documentations. Furthermore we offer discussion on the scope of pre- and postoperative planning.

My team and me are looking forward to meeting and hosting you in our department!

With kind regards,

Prof. Dr. Dr. H. Eufinger
